Most librarians at the Gold Coast Campus’s library are very friendly and helpful.

However, regulation breaking of some students makes others and these librarians feel dissatisfied.

Some always make noises and leave rubbish in the library. Books are sometimes lost or damaged by students, said Dean, an old librarian.

Students sometimes also speak too loud or sleep too long in the library. “Student can sleep a little in the library,” Dean smiles.

In fact, colorful sitting bags in the quite library are favorite places for students to sleep.

The old librarian expects students to follow the library’s rules and take advantage of its materials and facilities.

Many students on the Gold Coast campus find that studying in the library is much better than in their home.

“I always study nothing when I stay in my room,” says Quynh, a master student.

At home, he usually chats online with his friends, watching TV and sleeping and avoids study.

However, in the library, seeing other students working hard makes him feel like studying.

“I study very well in the library where I have friends and various study materials,” said William. For the guy, home is just for sleeping and the library is exactly for study.

Quynh, William and many other students go to the library everyday except for day-offs and holidays.

There is no doubt that technology has changed our lives, especially for students on the Gold Coast campus that rely on the Internet not only for their study but also for their lives.

“I have access to the Internet everyday, I do not know how I can live without it,” said Anna.

Anna, who is studying a master degree in marketing, always surfs the web for news and her study.

Meanwhile, Phuong, a Vietnamese student, usually has access to the Internet to connect with her parents in the homeland.

“Sometimes, Internet helps me feel like at home with my parents,” said she.

Thanks to the technology, most students in the campus also have their own websites or blogs.
